You’re Invited!
Regardless of where you are, or whether or not you consider yourself a Christian, you are welcome to join us! You can belong before you believe. It is our deep desire that your first visit to Good Shepherd Community Church is positive, encouraging, and life-impacting. To that end, we’d like to give you a quick summary of what you may expect when you stop by.
Service Time
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:00am every week.
What to Wear
Our church family comes together with no formal dress code. Some enjoy the opportunity to dress up. Most prefer the comfort of the casual clothes they wear every day.
Upon Arrival
When you arrive, you will be greeted at the door. Any one of our greeters will gladly answer any questions you have concerning where to go, where the bathrooms are, where to register your children for children’s ministry, etc. .
Coffee and Tea are available in the lobby before the worship service begins.
The Service
We begin our service by praying for the nations.
Then we focus on worshiping the Lord with contemporary music and testimonies of what God is doing in our lives.
Personal prayer is available throughout the worship time. After a short time of announcements and the offering, the children are dismissed for Impact (children’s ministry time).
We read a passage of Scripture from the Bible and then listen to a 40 minute teaching on what we read.
We wrap up before noon. Come when you can and feel free to leave early if you need to!
The Kids
Following worship, the children are dismissed for Impact (children’s ministry). We offer ministry options for nursery through 6th grade. You can register your children before the start of service at the Children’s Ministry kiosk in the lobby.
